JOHN H. TALTON III
FOUNDING PARTNER
John (Jack) Talton is a founding partner of Talton Hukill, LLP and an accredited Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) attorney, bringing extensive experience and a deep commitment to the field of VA disability law. Before co-founding the firm, Mr. Talton spent three years at the Board of Veterans’ Appeals, where he worked directly under a Veterans Law Judge. In that role, he drafted hundreds of appellate decisions spanning a wide range of veterans’ benefits issues, gaining an insider’s understanding of the VA appeals process.
Following his tenure at the Board, Mr. Talton joined a private law firm dedicated exclusively to VA disability appeals. There, he successfully represented hundreds of veterans and their families, securing millions of dollars in past-due benefits. His deep knowledge of veterans law and extensive experience within the VA appeal system allow him to advocate fiercely and effectively for those who have served.
As the grandson of two World War II veterans and the godson of a Desert Storm Army veteran, Mr. Talton understands firsthand the challenges faced by America’s veterans. His personal connection to the military community, combined with his legal expertise, drives his unwavering dedication to achieving justice for his clients.
